The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by Gary Moore, the HOA President at Wilson Property Management Office.
The financial statement was reviewed and approved. The primary agenda item was to discuss the implementation of the water metering plan. Since the motion was made to start unit sub-metering (at the June 8 meeting) there has been considerable work to determine the final actual costs, work on an installation schedule, examine carefully the reserves and potential expenditures, investigate the need for plumbing permits and look at the technology involved. It will cost right at $100,000 to implement unit sub-metering. By general consent the Board decided on the following:
Schedule the installation for the spring of 2017.
Commence billing individual units for water on July 1, 2017.
Assess each unit $300 to help cover the cost of installation.
Redirect the savings created by this action to the reserves account.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
